Melanie serves as a True Lean Administrative Support Associate and Conference Coordinator. She has been with the program since 2016. In this role, Melanie ensures on-campus and client onsite participants have the necessary materials and appropriate environment to learn True Lean elements, and to interact with both the practitioners and the participants from other organizations on the True Lean journey. In addition to client services, Melanie provides behind-the-scenes program support and represents the department on the College of Engineering Staff Council.
Prior to joining the program, Melanie worked for 17 years at UK providing administrative and accounting support in other departments.
A life-long Kentuckian, Melanie received her BA from UK. She also has completed several hours towards an MA in Education Administration at UK.
