Maryam Amro is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) program at the University of Kentucky. She currently serves as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Research for Technology Development (IR4TD).
Maryam earned her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Al-Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan. Her graduation project focused on enhancing productivity and efficiency through the application of operational excellence principles. Maryam has completed various internships, including production, e-logistics, procurement, and logistics. Her most recent internship was at the Fujio Cho Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Kentucky, where she gained valuable experience in Lean systems.
Passionate about continuous learning and skill development, Maryam actively engages in volunteering activities to enhance her soft skills and has completed numerous online courses to improve her technical abilities. She has held leadership roles in international organizations such as the Women in Engineering Affinity Group (WIE IEEE), the Hult Prize, and AIESEC, as well as in several local teams at her university.
